Bareilly: Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan announced the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) India Ranking 2024. NIRF is a ranking method adopted by the Ministry of Education to rank higher educational institutions in India.
Indian Council of Agricultural Research-Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI) has secured fifth rank in NIRF India Ranking 2024 in the category of agriculture and allied sectors. In the year 2023, IVRI got sixth rank.
This year it has got one place higher on the basis of all parameters.
Institute Director Dr. Triveni Dutt said on this occasion that this ranking will increase the interest of students related to veterinary medicine in this institute and many more courses related to veterinary medicine will be started by the institute in future.
Joint Director Academics Dr. S.K. Mendiratta said that due to this ranking, students with good ranking will get admission in IVRI and the students currently studying will benefit in placement.
